THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN RELIGION, IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION) THROUGH FOSTERING AND NURTURING CHRISTIAN SCHOLARSHIP IN PUBLIC THEOLOGY AND ETHICS THAT IS OPEN TO AND ENGAGING WITH SOCIETY AS A WHOLE, THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTELLECTUAL COMMUNITY OF CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS, AND THROUGH PUBLISHING RESEARCH.
