THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN CORNWALL IN THE SUBJECTS OF FLORA AND FAUNA AND IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, CONSERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF NATURAL SITES IN THE AREA, AND PROVISION OF AWARDS FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES.
