Charitable objects
THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL (AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR) ABOUT THE ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BOTH ACROSS THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: A)CREATING AND PUBLISHING OF BOOKS, LEARNING MATERIALS, TEACHING MATERIALS AND DIGITAL LEARNING RESOURCES B)INCREASING TEACHERS, OTHER PROFESSIONALS AND VOLUNTEERS’ KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT AND INCREASING THEIR ABILITY TO TEACH OTHERS ABOUT IT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF TRAINING MATERIALS, RESOURCES AND COURSES C)MAKING LEARNING RESOURCES, TRAINING, AND EXPERTISE AVAILABLE TO OTHER CHARITABLE, STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND GROUPS AND COLLABORATING WITH THEM TO ENABLE THEM TO DELIVER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND TEACH OTHERS IN THE GEOGRAPHIES WHERE THEY OPERATE 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE IN RELATION TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION, IN THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, MAKING GRANTS OR LOANS FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES.
