THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, TO BE FURTHERED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND TO BE UNDERTAKEN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE, ARE: 1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE PROJECTS AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 2) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH MAY BE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
