FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ELDERLY PEOPLE RESIDENT IN HERTFORDSHIRE AND ESSEXAND THE SURROUNDING AREA WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM LONELINESS AND SOCIAL ISOLATION IN ANY MANNER WHICH NOW OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF A SUNDAY LUNCH CLUB TO OFFER A MONTHLY COMMUNAL MEAL AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION.
