TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC AND IN PARTICULAR IN CHORAL SINGING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN THROUGH THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE LANCASTER & DISTRICT SCHOOLS' SINGING FESTIVAL, ITS AFFILIATED CHOIRS AND RELATED MUSICAL EVENTS.
