Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN FOOD AND NUTRITION SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICAL SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF FOOD, FOOD ORIGINS, FOOD FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES AND HOSPITALITY.
2) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
