WAVE provides a safe and warm environment for young people between the ages of 10 and 16 to drop in to meet up with friends, have a hot meal and join in activities after school. We also provide mental health support for those who feel they need it, delivered by Motiv-8.

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN HAYLING ISLAND THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
