Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY (ÔTHE OBJECTSÖ) ARE THROUGHOUT THE UNITED KINGDOM AND MORE PARTICULARLY IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM: (A) TO ADVANCE THE FAITH AND RELIGIOUS PRACTICES OF ISLAM BY PROVIDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDANCE OF THE NOBLE QURÆAN AND THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD, MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM AND GRANT HIM PEACE, FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MUSLIMS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY ASSISTING THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN BEREAVED IN: (I) COMPLYING WITH ALL LEGAL FORMALITIES WHICH APPLY WHEN SOMEONE DIES; (II) PREPARING THE BODY OF A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY WHO HAS DIED FOR BURIAL; (III) CARRYING OUT THE FUNERAL OF THE DECEASED; AND (B) TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BY ASSISTING IN: (I) CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE COSTS INVOLVED IN PROVIDING THESE SERVICES; AND (II) PROVIDING THESE SERVICES FOR ANY MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO HAVE NO KNOWN SURVIVING RELATIVES.
