THE PURPOSES OF THE CIO SHALL BE TO APPLY EITHER CAPITAL OR INCOME FOR SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES ACCORDING TO ENGLISH LAW IN THE UK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC WHICH ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT AND, IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, IN THE TEACHING OF THE CHRISTIAN TRADITION OF MEDITATION AND PRAYER AS PASSED ON THROUGH THE TEACHINGS OF JOHN MAIN OSB.
