Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND EDUCATION GENERALLY (INCLUDING BY THE WORSHIP OF GOD, THE INSTRUCTION AND EDIFICATION OF CHRISTIANS, THE CARE AND CHRISTIAN INSTRUCTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN, THE EVANGELISATION OF NON-CHRISTIANS, AND THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND POVERTY) IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ABROAD FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS IN THE SCHEDULE HERETO IN NORTH LONDON AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CLO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
