Activities - how the charity spends its money
The aim of the Charity is to restore a forgotten cemetery in Epsom Surrey in which up to 9000 people were buried between 1899 and 1955. The charity will also undertake research into and education about the lives of those buried there - seek to trace relatives and descendants and promote a Book of Remembrance containing all the names.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO PROMOTE THE HERITAGE, PRESERVATION, RESTORATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HORTON CEMETERY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; 2. TO PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN BURIAL, HOSPITAL, MEDICAL AND PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDS OF PATIENTS BURIED IN HORTON CEMETERY AND OF ANY PATIENT WHO WAS ADMITTED TO ANY OF THE FIVE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITALS (KNOWN AS "THE CLUSTER") LOCATED IN EPSOM AND EWELL IN SURREY, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND 3. TO PROMOTE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE LOCAL HISTORY OF THE CEMETERY AND THE LIVES OF THE FORGOTTEN 9000 OR THEREABOUTS PERSONS BURIED IN THE CEMETERY. 4. TO COMMISSION AND MAINTAIN IN A PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE BUILDING A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE OF THE FORGOTTEN 9000 NAMES. 5. A) RESEARCH AND PUBLIC EDUCATION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN 1899-1955 (THE OPEN PERIOD OF THE CEMETERY) AS REVEALED BY THE LIVES OF THOSE WOMEN BURIED IN THE CEMETERY, THE RELEVANCE OF THE RESEARCH'S FINDINGS TO THE CAMPAIGN FOR WOMENS' RIGHTS AND THE RIGHT TO VOTE DURING THIS PERIOD. B) TO MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION ON THE LIFE AND STRUGGLE FOR WOMENS' RIGHTS OF EMILY DAVISON WHO ALSO DIED IN EPSOM.
