THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN HEALTHY RECREATION AND SPORTS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS, BODIES AND ORGANISATIONS BASED IN LONDON AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE, DESIGNED TO ASSIST WITH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ENABLE PARTICIPATION AND REMOVE BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION.
