Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE PROMOTION OF THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR IN RHYL BY THE PROVISION OF A SUITABLE COMMUNITY FACILITY AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF VOLUNTARY GROUPS OF RHYL TO ENABLE THE DELIVERY OF SOCIAL AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS FOCUSED ON SPECIFIC INTEREST GROUPS TO INCLUDE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, SENIORS, DISABLED, FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED, SOCIALLY ISOLATED AND ECONOMICALLY INACTIVE IN THE > INTERESTS OF ENHANCING SOCIAL WELFARE, INCREASING COHESION, CRIME REDUCTION AND FOR IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THOSE SAID GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS THEY SUPPORT. 'THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR’ MEANS CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS. • CHARITIES ARE ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. • VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY, AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE DISTRIBUTION. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR OTHER STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.
