Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE : THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO PEOPLE IN BANGLADESH WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER SUCH AS FLOODS, DROUGHT, EARTHQUAKES ETC, THROUGH SUCH ANY AND SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM FIT AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF HOMELESS PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATION IN SUBJECTS SUCH AS FARMING AND AGRICULTURE, IN ORDER TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE INDEPENDENT LIVING. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
