THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ('THE OBJECTS') ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF AND TO RAISE AWARENESS AMONG THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS IN FIGHTING ALL RENAL CANCERS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE SUBTYPE RENAL MEDULLARY CARCINOMA (RMC). (2) TO RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH INTO RENAL CANCERS (AS IN (1) ABOVE) AND TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND TREATMENT FOR THE SAME FOR SUFFERERS OF SUCH MEDICAL CONDITIONS RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, AND PRACTICAL ADVICE AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. (3) TO RELIEVE THE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM RENAL CANCERS (AS IN (1) ABOVE) AND IMPROVE AND EXTEND THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH RENAL CANCERS (AS IN (1) ABOVE) WHO ARE PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TO SUPPORT THE FAMILIES OF SUCH PEOPLE IN THE EVENT OF HARDSHIP AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME. (4) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME IN ORDER TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND REHABILITATION OF FIREFIGHTERS ACROSS THE UNITED KINGDOM.
