TO RELIEVE PERSONS RESIDENT IN NORTH KIRKLEES (AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF) WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEE, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OR SICKNESS, PARTICULARLY THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING OR WHO HAVE SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF CRIME, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT THINK FIT.
