Charitable objects
3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (AGES 0 - 25) IN NORTHUMBERLAND AFFECTED BY ONE OR MORE OF THE ISSUES SPECIFIED IN CLAUSE 3.2, AND THEIR FAMILIES, THROUGH THE MEANS SPECIFIED IN CLAUSE 3.3. 3.2 THE CHILDEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO BENEFIT SHALL BE AFFECTED BY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: (A) AUTISM; (B) ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD); (C) LOOKED AFTER CHILDREN (OR THOSE PREVIOUSLY LOOKED AFTER); (D) ANY OTHER CATEGORY OF CHILDREN OR YOUNG PEOPLE WHICH THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER TO HAVE SIMILAR NEEDS TO THOSE ABOVE. 3.3 THE OBJECTS SHALL BE CARRIED OUT BY THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (A) BY PROVISION OF OUTDOOR AND INDOOR ACTIVITIES; (B) BY PROVISION OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY; (C) BY SUPPORTING NETWORKING AND MUTUAL LEARNING BY THE PARENTS AND CARERS OF THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE; (D) BY SUCH OTHER MEANS (BEING CHARITABLE IN LAW) AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER WILL HELP TO ADVANCE THE OBJECTS.
