The Association supports adults with special needs living or formerly living at 76 Holland Street, with a view to improving their quality of life, but without supplementing services and facilities normally provided by the local authority. It pays towards trips (individual and small groups) to leisure facilities and towards in-house entertainments, as well as personal birthday and Christmas

Charitable objects
THE RELIEF OF THE INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, ALL OF WHOM HAVE LEARNING DISABILITIES AND MANY OF WHOM HAVE ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, WHO ARE USING OR HAVE USED THE FACILITIES OF 76 HOLLAND STREET. TO THIS END THE ASSOCIATION SHALL USE ITS FUNDS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE ABOVE-MENTIONED INDIVIDUALS, BUT WITHOUT GENERALLY SUPPLEMENTING SERVICES AND FACILITIES NORMALLY GIVEN BY THE CARE PROVIDER. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS, BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE ASSOCIATION SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING POWERS: A) TO FOSTER MUTUAL CO-OPERATION AND FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN PARENTS, GUARDIANS, RELATIVES AND FRIENDS OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED INDIVIDUALS. B) TO RAISE ADEQUATE FUNDS FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE FOREGOING OBJECTS, AND TO INVITE AND RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ANY PERSON OR PERSONS WHATSOEVER BY WAY OF SUBSCRIPTION, DONATION OR OTHERWISE, PROVIDED THAT THE ASSOCIATION SHALL NOT UNDERTAKE ANY PERMANENT TRADING ACTIVITIES IN RAISING FUNDS FOR ITS CHARITABLE OBJECTS. C) TO DO ALL SUCH OTHER LAWFUL THINGS AS ARE NECESSARY TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
