TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, DISTRESS AND SUFFERING AMONG POOR PEOPLE, HOMELESS PERSONS AND OTHER PEOPLE IN NEED, AS A RESULT OF LOCAL OR NATIONAL DISASTER OR BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, MAKING GRANTS OR LOANS FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES. 3. ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO SUCH INDIVIDUALS OR CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR DISCRETION SHALL DECIDE.
