THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN THE UK BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO STATUTORY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS AND CHARITIES FOR EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND ACTIVITIES, OR SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE.
