Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, WHICH ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND, ARE: 1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF THEIR AUTISM AND/OR NEURO DIVERSITY FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: • PROVIDING A RECREATIONAL FACILITY FOR AUTISTIC AND NEURO DIVERSE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS WHICH CREATES A SAFE, FRIENDLY AND ACCEPTING ATMOSPHERE IN WHICH ALL PARTICIPANTS CAN FEEL COMFORTABLE, RELAXED AND INCLUDED; • PROVIDING AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FAMILIES/CARERS TO SHARE AND LEARN NEW STRATEGIES FOR SUPPORTING THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN AND TO REDUCE FEELINGS OF SOCIAL ISOLATION; • PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE NEURO TYPICAL FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF AUTISTIC AND NEURO DIVERSE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO SHARE EXPERIENCES WITH THEM AND THEREBY PROMOTE INCLUSION; • FACILITATING ACCESS, THROUGH SIGNPOSTING, TO RELEVANT INFORMATION, ADVICE AND TRAINING FOR FAMILIES/CARERS AS APPROPRIATE. 2) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE.
