TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN MARLBOROUGH, WILTSHIRE, MAINLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE AND (B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. THE BENEFITS FROM PURPOSE (A) ARE: • INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO SOCIALISE AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL AND HOME SETTINGS IN A DEDICATED YOUTH CLUB AND “SAFE SPACE”, LEADING TO A GREATER SENSE OF INDEPENDENCE, CONFIDENCE, WELL-BEING. THE BENEFITS FROM PURPOSE (B) ARE: • OPPORTUNITIES TO RECEIVE COUNSELLING AND/OR MENTORING TO HELP WITH ANY SOCIAL, MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL ISSUES OR CONCERNS, LEADING TO AN IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE, GREATER CONFIDENCE AND WELL-BEING. • INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND DEVELOP NEW SKILLS AND HAVE NEW EXPERIENCES THROUGH ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS, LEADING TO A GREATER FULFILMENT AND SENSE OF COMMUNITY.
