The Port Men in Sheds seeks to address and alleviate the damaging health and mental illness consequences brought about by social isolation in older men often brought about by retirement, ill health and bereavement. We achieve this objective by operating a large workshop and social facility in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, where men can come together and socialise in a creative communal workshop space.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1 TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY MEN AGED 18 OR OVER WITHIN ELLESMERE PORT AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS, FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.
