AMWA Welfare is a charity devoted to raising money to assist in the rescue and on-going care, fostering and kennel costs of neglected or homeless Alaskan Malamutes within the UK. Money is currently raised by donation and fund raising activities such as raffles and quizzes from members and guests at sporting and social events held by the Alaskan Malamute Working Association.
