THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:
3.1 TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH BY REDUCING UNNECESSARY STRESS IN THE WORKPLACE; AND
3.2 TO ADVANCE THE UNDERSTANDING OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AS THEY RELATE TO WORKPLACE PRACTICES AND THE INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORKPLACE STRESS AND MENTAL HEALTH;
