THE RELIEF OF PERSON SUFFERING OR SUSPECTED OF SUFFERING FROM CANCER ATTENDING OR HAVING PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED WYTHENSHAWE HOSPITAL, MANCHESTER BY SUPPLEMENTING IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT THE PROVISION OR IMPROVEMENT AT THE HOSPITAL OF SERVICES, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY) AND BY PROMOTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INTO CANCERS, THEIR PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF EQUIPMENT FOR SUCH TREATMET AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF EQUIPMENT FOR SUCH TREATMENT AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
