Activities - how the charity spends its money
Blossom & Bloom provide well-being support and socialisation to expectant mums and mums with babies (pre-school age), who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, disadvantage or social isolation. We promote socialisation, positive well-being, financial independence and opportunities to skill up, access training/employment, to reduce the risk of future poverty and homelessness for mum and baby.

THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN DENBIGHSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: • THE PROVISION OF GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO HOMELESS OR POTENTIALLY HOMELESS MUMS AND BABIES RESIDING IN TEMPORARY EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION TO SOURCE AND SECURE SUSTAINABLE AND MORE PERMANENT ACCOMMODATION, TO ACCESS TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, TO PROMOTE POSITIVE WELLBEING, FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AND REDUCE THE RISK OF FUTURE POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS. • THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT TO DEVELOP COMMUNITY INITIATIVES TO ENCOURAGE MUMS AND BABIES TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND FEEL A SENSE OF COMMUNITY SPIRIT, COHESION AND SAFETY. • MAKING GRANTS TO HOMELESS MUMS AND BABIES TO FUND DEPOSIT AND RENT TO SECURE AFFORDABLE PRIVATE TENANCIES.
