Lambeth Links exists for the LGBT community of Lambeth as a Forum for members of the Community in times of need and times of celebration; to bring those within it closer together and increase our knowledge and understanding of each other; and to enable the creation and strengthening of links between us to further reinforce the Community and with a united voice, highlight the issues that affect it

THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH BY: (A)THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF GENDER IDENTITY, GENDER EXPRESSION AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION; (B)RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY AND THE NEEDS OF LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, QUEER, INTERSEX, ASEXUAL AND OTHER MARGINALISED SEXUAL MINORITIES AND NON-BINARY GENDER PERSONS (LGBTQIA+) AND THE ISSUES AFFECTING THEIR LIVES AND THEIR COMMUNITIES; (C)PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE FROM LGBTQIA+ BACKGROUND; AND (D)CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN PARTICULAR THROUGH CELEBRATING THE DIVERSITY OF THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY.
