Charitable objects
3.1 The objects of the charity are, for the benefit of the public: 3.1.1 making grants and giving financial assistance to support the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other social and economic disadvantage; and 3.1.2 making grants and giving financial assistance to support the relief of the suffering of animals in need of care and attention and, in particular, to support the maintenance of rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals.
