THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE INHABITANTS OF BEVERLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WITHIN THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SPORT OF AMATEUR BOXING. 2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE AMATEUR SPORT OF BOXING IN BEVERLEY AND SURROUNDING TOWNS AND VILLAGES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, ACTIVITIES AND COACHING FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SPORT OF BOXING, WITHIN A FUN AND ENJOYABLE ENVIRONMENT.
