TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF HEAD AND NECK CLINICAL RADIOLOGY IN THE UK, IN PARTICULAR BY: A. PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS IN THE CLINICAL PRACTICE OF HEAD AND NECK RADIOLOGY; B. PROMOTING HEAD & NECK RADIOLOGY AS A CORE DISCIPLINE WITHIN CLINICAL RADIOLOGY; C. ENSURING IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGISTS AND ANY OTHER RELEVANT BODY, THAT TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF HEAD & NECK RADIOLOGISTS IS APPROPRIATE AND OF A HIGH STANDARD; D. ADVISING AND COLLABORATING WITH REGULATORY AND PROFESSIONAL BODIES REGARDING DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS OF PRACTICE OF HEAD AND NECK RADIOLOGY; AND E. STIMULATING AND ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND INNOVATION WITHIN THE FIELD OF HEAD AND NECK RADIOLOGY WITH VIEW TO IMPROVING PATIENT CARE AND CLINICAL OUTCOMES.
