We promote and protect the physical and mental health of children and young people by improving their access to Relationships and Sex Education through: convening stakeholders to share effective practice and identify gaps; supporting educators to be confident providers of RSE; gathering international evidence to inform policy and practice and improve public understanding of the benefits of RSE.

TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE BY IMPROVING THEIR ACCESS TO RELATIONSHIPS AND SEX EDUCATION (RSE) IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) IN ENGLAND THROUGH: 1.CONVENING KEY RSE STAKEHOLDERS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, STATUTORY AND NON-STATUTORY ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN RSE PROVISION TO SHARE EFFECTIVE PRACTICE, MONITOR PROVISION, AND IDENTIFY GAPS; 2.SUPPORTING EDUCATORS, PARENTS AND CARERS TO BE COMPETENT AND CONFIDENT PROVIDERS OF RSE; AND 3.GATHERING AND UTILISING THE EVIDENCE FOR EFFECTIVE RSE TO INFORM POLICY AND PRACTICE AND ADVANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE BENEFITS OF RSE
