TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO CHARITIES IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND THAT SUPPORT THOSE THAT ARE DISADVANTAGED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER SOCIO-ECONOMIC BASIS WITH A FOCUS ON INITIATIVES WITH EDUCATIONAL, SPORTING OR ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS.
