TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILL HEALTH BY:- - WORKING TO INCREASE THE UNDERSTANDING OF MENTAL HEALTH AND MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, PROVIDING INFORMATION, DELIVERING TRAINING, RAISING AWARENESS AND CHALLENGING STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION; - WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY SECTOR, STATUTORY SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH ALLIED PROFESSIONALS AND BUSINESSES TO BENEFIT THE MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF RESIDENTS; - ADVANCING EDUCATION AS TO THE CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES, MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION OF MENTAL ILL HEALTH; AND - PROMOTING BEST PRACTICE IN THE FIELD OF MENTAL HEALTH.
