Activities - how the charity spends its money
The trustees of the W&RMEC shall on land known as Top Field, adjacent to the Whitwell & Reepham Railway Station, establish and maintain a workshop to support all forms of engineering with the aim of sharing and developing new skills related to model engineering to attract people of all ages to the activity. The Trustees shall also construct, operate and maintain the TOP FIELD LIGHT RAILWAY.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SCIENCE AND SKILLS OF ENGINEERING BY:- ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A WORKSHOP TO SUPPORT ALL FORMS OF ENGINEERING WITH THE AIM OF SHARING AND DEVELOPING NEW SKILLS RELATED TO MODEL ENGINEERING; AND CONSTRUCTING, OPERATING AND MAINTAINING A LIGHT RAILWAY AND UTILISING TRADITIONAL RAILWAY PRACTICES AND RULES FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL RAILWAY ENTHUSIASTS AND FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
