THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS AND CULTURE ACROSS THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, AND THE WIDER AREA, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING LEADERSHIP, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND SUPPORT TO THE CULTURAL SECTOR.
