THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT FOR STUDENTS AND MEDICAL SCHOOL APPLICANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY APPLICANTS FROM STATE SCHOOLS BY: (A) PROVIDING MENTORSHIP FROM VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE CURRENT MEDICAL STUDENTS (B) PROVIDING TUITION IN MEDICALLY RELATED A-LEVELS (C) PROVIDING REVISION RESOURCES FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘MENTORSHIP’ MEANS PROVIDING GUIDANCE THROUGH THE MEDICINE APPLICATION CYCLE, FOR EXAMPLE PROVIDING HELP WITH WRITING PERSONAL STATEMENTS AND TUITION FOR ADMISSIONS EXAMS
