THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE ART OF MUSIC THROUGH:
A) THE PERFORMANCE OF CHORAL AND OTHER MUSIC IN PUBLIC CONCERTS AT THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF ARTISTIC MERIT;
B) COMPETITIONS FOR AND PERFORMANCES OF ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS; AND
C) EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES.
