THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
TO PROMOTE OR ASSIST THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE – TIME OCCUPATION, FOR PERSONS, RESIDING IN NUNEATON AND SURROUNDING AREA, WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
