Charitable objects
TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE WITH ALBINISM AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS BY:- PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT ALBINISM INCLUDING TO PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH AND ADVISING PEOPLE WITH ALBINISM AND OTHER APPROPRIATE INTERESTED PARTIES; RAISING POSITIVE AWARENESS OF THE CONDITION; ARRANGING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH ALBINISM AND THEIR FAMILIES TO MEET FOR SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE THE SHARING OF EXPERIENCES; AND PROVIDING SUCH OTHER INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE.” NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
