THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1.1 TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION AND IN PARTICULAR THE AHMADIYYA MOVEMENT OF LAHORE AS ENDORSED BY AHMADIYYA ANJUMAN LAHORE, PAKISTAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE KEY PRINCIPLES SET OUT IN SCHEDULE 2, THROUGHOUT THE UK AND OVERSEAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH THE TEACHING OF THE HOLY QURAN, INTERFAITH ACTIVITIES, RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISLAMIC BELIEFS AND PRACTICES, CARRYING OUT PASTORAL WORK AND THE PRESERVATION AND PUBLICATION OF THE HISTORY AND ARCHIVES OF THE FORMER WOKING MUSLIM MISSION, WHICH WAS BASED AT THE MOSQUE, WOKING, SURREY, FROM 1913 TO 1968. 3.1.2 THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE UK AND OVERSEAS MAINLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING SERVICES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.
