THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY, PRIMARILY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN BANGLADESH, BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS, AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.
