THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIEVING POVERTY, RELIEVING OR PREVENTING SICKNESS AND IMPROVING HEALTH ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY: (1) MAKING GRANTS TO CHARITIES AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS; (2) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT; AND (3) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF ITEMS, FACILITIES AND SERVICES THAT WILL RELIEVE POVERTY, RELIEVE OR PREVENT SICKNESS AND IMPROVE HEALTH.
