Charitable objects
The objectives of the CIO are: 1. Advance the Christian religion in Oxfordshire, in particular and the UK in general for the public benefit in accordance with the statement of faith in the schedule hereto by: a) Providing a regular place of worship and prayer; b) The provision of such facilities and services as are appropriate for the church, to enable it to fulfil its mission to the members of the church, visitors to the church and the local community and the wider community; c) the provision of facilities for Christian training and service; d) the support and provision of Christian evangelism and outreach; e) the provision of assistance to the wider Christian church in its ministries. f. undertaking other activities that are consistent with promoting Christianity. 2. Advance Education, Learning and Knowledge by: a) increasing community and people awareness and adoption of sustainable; practices by organizing workshops and campaigns that emphasise recycling, energy conservation, and sustainable living; b) partnering with local schools and organisations to implement eco-friendly projects such as tree planting, community gardens, and clean-up drives to preserve local ecosystems and heritage sites; c) launching and promoting initiatives to protect and restore local natural habitats, including reforestation projects and the protection of endangered species; d) developing and sustaining after-school programmes and tutoring services to support students' academic achievement and address learning gaps; e) raising awareness about mental health issues and advocate for better mental health services and support systems within the community. 3. Advancement of General Charitable Purposes that the Trustees may deem fit from time to time for public benefit.
