THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY THROUGHOUT ENGLAND BY THE PROVISION OF BASIC FOOD AND/OR SUPPLIES, SUCH AS CHILDREN?S CLOTHES AND SHOES, BOOKS, PERSONAL OR EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES AND SURPLUS FOOD - TO HELP FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND SCHOOLS THAT ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD THEM. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG PEOPLE BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH GOODS/SERVICES WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS.
