Charitable objects
1. To advance in life and relieve needs of young people, in particular, but not exclusively young offenders through: (a) the provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life; (b) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. 2. The relief of financial hardship among people living or working in Barry and South Wales by providing such persons with services, such as a meal service, which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means. 3. To promote the conservation and protection of the environment for the public benefit by: (a) Educating the public in methods of sustainable food production, specifically through the use of Aquaponics systems; (b) Researching, developing, and demonstrating Aquaponics technology as a means of reducing carbon emissions and other environmental harms associated with traditional agriculture, such as water usage, land degradation, and food miles; (c) Promoting the principles of a circular economy by using waste from aquatic life to fertilise plant growth. 4. To relieve poverty and food insecurity for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) Providing fresh, nutritious, and sustainably grown produce, at a subsidised cost, to individuals and families in need; (b) Distributing such produce to other charitable organisations, food banks, and community groups that support those experiencing food poverty. 5. To promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and the voluntary sector for the public benefit by providing them with a sustainable source of low-cost, high-nutrition food to support their own charitable activities. 6. To advance the education of the public, in particular children and young people, in subjects related to environmental sustainability, nutrition, and science, through hands-on experience with Aquaponics systems and educational workshops.
