FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR POOR MENTAL HEALTH. 2. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY PROVIDING: GRANTS, ITEMS, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 3.
