Charitable objects
THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘OBJECTS’) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: 1) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SPORTS OF FOOTBALL, CRICKET, BOXING AND MARTIAL ARTS. 2) TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH: A. THE PROVISION RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; B. ADVANCING EDUCATION; C. PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. 3) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS LIVING IN EAST LONDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHO ARE IN A CONDITION OF NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AS DETERMINED TO BE NECESSARY.
