Charitable objects

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ALLEVIATE THE HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS OF THE CHILDREN RESIDENT IN WEST HERTFORDSHIRE AND SURROUNDS (HEREINAFTER CALL “THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) CAUSED BY THE BREAK-UP OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF THE SUCH CHILDREN BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A CENTRE AND FACILITIES WHEREAT SUCH CHILDREN CAN MORE READILY ENJOY THE COMPANY AND LOVE OF THE PARENT WITH WHO THEY DO NOT NORMALLY RESIDE AND OF OTHER MEMBERS OF THE THEIR FAMILY AS MAY BE APPROPRIATE. THE CENTRE SHALL BE NON-POLITICAL.
